Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Erika Kabalin and Dylan Driscoll
Unfortunately you can't gamble in Texas. Only with your life. But there is still plenty to do while you're in town! We hope that the Friday wedding will let you make a weekend of things in Austin. Here's some stuff we think you should check out.

Oye Taquito 956

1704 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, TX 78702

Best Mexican street food in town- food truck with picnic bench seating

Donn's Depot

1600 West 5th Street, Austin, TX 78703

If you're looking for a genuine TX experience we recommend Donn's Depot. We love to people watch here. There's a live band with two-steppin' on the weekends.

Cosmic Saltillo

1300 East 4th Street, Austin, TX 78702

Beautiful coffee shop/beer garden, a great space to spend a few hours outside. We had our first date here, at the original south congress location :)

Cisco's

1511 East 6th Street, Austin, TX 78702

Dylan's favorite ATX restaurant. Old school tex-mex diner. Tacos? For breakfast??

Desnudo Coffee

2505 Webberville Road, Austin, TX 78702

Best coffee in town! Long lines, be prepared to wait a bit but well worth it. The owners feel like long lost friends you have known your entire life

Sahara Lounge

1413 Webberville Road, Austin, TX 78721

Funky little bar in far east Austin but worth the visit for an eclectic mix of live music and cheap drinks. We recommend their micheladas. Very good chance you catch us here on Saturday night for Africa night - $10 for an African buffet and live music!

Kitty Cohen's

2211 Webberville Road, Austin, TX 78702

Small eastside tiki bar with a pool to stick your feet in. Gonna have to trust us on this one

Deep Eddy Municipal Pool

401 Deep Eddy Avenue, Austin, TX 78703

Spring fed swimming pool, if you are looking to try another spot besides Barton Springs

Vintage Bookstore and Wine Bar

1101 East 11th Street, Austin, TX 78702

Bookstore/wine bar close to various restaurants, vintage stores, and bars. Great little area to spend a few hours at

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

6929 Airport Boulevard, Austin, TX 78752

This restaurant has a fun conveyor belt ordering system and is pretty affordable! This part of town is worth going to as there is a lot in the shopping center to do, from the Japanese bookstore Kinokuniya, to the dollar spot Daiso, Korean corn dogs, and Japanese cheesecake Uncle Tetsu!

For all the days along the way
