FAQs

The Wedding Website of Monay Danielle Brown and Justin Joe Doyle
We plan to make your time celebrating us as simple as possible! If there are any additional questions we have not answered about the dress code, accessibility, the venue, or anything else please reach out!
Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code for both the ceremony and reception is Garden Party/Formal. “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking!” - Miranda Priestly (The Devil Wears Prada) As much as we love a casual look, we can't wait to see you all in more elegant looks! What does Garden Party/Formal mean? Florals and spring colors! If you're wearing a dress we recommend tea or floor length. If your wearing a suit, we recommend spring colors. Are jeans okay? Unfortunately, we'd rather see you in slacks or dresses! Is Black Tie acceptable? We are actually hoping for something less formal. Think light and breathable fabrics. How about a sundress? If you'd wear it for a picnic at a park for a casual outing, I would say save that for another day. But send me a photo if your concerned!! Here is a Pinterest board that may help decide your attire: https://pin.it/4KcmAwsrk [copy and paste the link into a web browsers]

Question

Is there an open-bar?

Answer

Yes! We wouldn’t dare deny anyone a drink!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can't wait to be surrounded by so much love on our wedding day, and as much as we would love to include everyone, we worked hard on curating a guest list. So, unfortunately, if your invite did not include a plus one, please do not bring one! If you feel like a mistake happened on your invite, please message Monay!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

I would say anywhere close to the venue - Los Robles Greens. Hotels in the area: > Best Western Plus Thousand Oaks Inn >Hyatt Regency Westlake >Westlake Village Inn >Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village >Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel >Hampton Inn & Suites Agoura Hills >Hampton Inn & Suites Thousand Oaks, CA >Courtyard Thousand Oaks Ventura County >Palm Garden Hotel

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Our wedding register is included on this website! That being said we understand you forget, don't have time, or whatever the reason may be! We will not be heartbroken I promise - to sound cheesy... our love is enough!

Question

Can I bring my child/children?

Answer

We love your little ones as much as you do, however, we want you to fully enjoy your time at our wedding so the only children that are invited will be those in our wedding party (and their siblings). But trust me they party harder than us!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We are so lucky to live in California. So do expect beautiful weather. But ALWAYS expect the unexpected! As our venue is entirely outside, we recommend a coat or long sleeves for the evening. But we will have heaters available so that everyone is as comfortable as possible! What if it rains? We will be getting married rain or shine! But we will have a tent on standby just in case!

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes! We all know how stressful looking for parking can be. There will be free parking enough for all of our guests! If you do decide to drive, please remember the drive back to your house or hotel and drink responsibly!
