Greg and Amina met in November of 2017. Amina's boss came to her about setting up an interview with someone who had just recently lost his Dad. She was told she didn't have to hire him but needed to at least meet him and see if he would fit the position. After a TWO hour interview where they got off topic a few times. Amina called Greg back for two more interviews. She ended up offering him the job and he kindly declined it. A year later he started working for the same company in a different department. We started out as friends and over time it just started to become a deeper relationship. In September of 2019 Amina wasn't really sure how to move forward with Greg because they worked for the same company, he didn't care and continued to push for more of a relationship. 9/18/19 Greg called Amina and said his truck battery died and needed her to come give it a jump. When Amina showed up Greg had sunflowers and a fully charged truck battery, nothing has been the same since that day and we're forever grateful for our paths crossing in life.

We were taking our annual Christmas pictures and Greg took a "phone call" in the middle of it. Turns out he was trying to get the ring out of his sock! haha. He came back to the pictures and got down on one knee. Amina started nervous laughing and kind of blacked out as Greg was pouring his heart out. She doesn't remember anything he said but she said YES and that's all that matters! It was such a special day and even more special that Grayce watched the entire thing. She was so happy! Greg also pulled off a surprise engagement party with some of our closest family and friends the day after! It'll be two days we will never forget!
