Can I bring a plus one?

We are so excited to celebrate this day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we are keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated.

What meals will you be providing?
Answer
We will provide dinner on Friday and Saturday night, along with a continental breakfast on Sunday morning before we say our goodbyes. We highly recommend that you stop at the grocery store in Sundre on the way in to grab snacks and camp food. We have plenty of campfires and grills located at Mountain Aire available for use. Not all rooms will have refrigeration so please plan accordingly.

We will be celebrating at a very special place that means a lot to us - Our family's resort, Mountain Aire, located in Alberta, Canada.

What is the best way to get too and from the venue?
Answer
For the most reliable access, guests should travel via Sundre to Mountain Aire. Although other routes exist, they are not recommended due to road conditions. When using Apple Maps or Google Maps, please search: “Mountain Aire Lodge and Campground.” Kindly note that the final approximately 25 km is a gravel road. Directions: • Travel Highway 2 to Olds • Continue west past Sundre for approximately 8 km to Coal Camp Road (Range Road 63) • Turn left and continue for 23 km (paved) • Proceed as the road transitions to gravel for approximately 25 km • Turn left onto Forestry Trunk Road (approximately 3 km) • Turn left to cross the bridge (approximately 0.5 km) • Take the first right after the bridge

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Most guests will be arriving two days prior to the ceremony so we can enjoy the celebrations together. For guests attending the ceremony only, we kindly recommend arriving at least two hours in advance to allow for travel time and any unforeseen road or driving conditions.

What airport is the best to fly into?
Answer
The best airport we recommend for reaching Mountain Aire is Calgary International Airport (YYC). It offers direct flights from many locations, a wide range of airline options, and easy navigation for car rentals or onward travel to the venue.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?
Answer
We recommend packing for warm, sunny days and cooler mornings and evenings to ensure comfort throughout the celebrations.

What do we need to bring for our stay?
Answer
All accommodations will be provided by Mountain Aire. We recommend that you bring an array of clothes for warm days and cold nights, along with any other items you may need for the weekend. Please see the provided meals and plan accordingly for any food you may need otherwise.
