Nikki and Mike’s journey began on the picturesque shores of Cape Cod, but it was in the vibrant streets of New York where they truly fell in love. Despite living in different states—Nikki in New Hampshire and Mike in New York—their connection grew stronger. A serendipitous visit to her friend Elise, who lived just across the street from Mike, led to their first official date. For the next year, they navigated a six-hour drive back and forth, always eager to be together. Thanks to remote work, they explored each other’s worlds—Mike traded the city for the great outdoors, while Nikki indulged in the culinary delights of New York. Their bond deepened, and soon they knew they were meant to be.After a year of shared adventures, they embarked on a new chapter in Charleston. With a U-Haul packed and excitement in the air, they welcomed their beloved dog, Nacho, into their family. Charleston offered them everything they loved—boating, beach days, golf, and sunshine all year round.

Mike made his move by cutting in while Nikki was dancing with her grandmother. With a charming smile, he asked, 'Mind if I steal a dance with her?' and twirled Nikki's grandma onto the dance floor.
