French’s Point is ideally set in the heart of the mid-coast region. Visitors have access to some of the best restaurants, shops, galleries, & recreational activities in Maine. Guests can explore the quintessential coastal villages of Camden, Belfast, Bucksport, Blue Hill, and Ellsworth.
Our venue owner has also shared their top recommendations for food & lobster in the area which you will find below. There are both casual and more fine dining options. We recommend taking a look into getting dinner at one of these spots Friday, May 17th, prior to a Cocktail party hosted by the Groom's parents for all guests on the Terrace (see Events).

In addition to hosting the Welcome Party, Wedding Ceremony, and Cocktail hour, and Reception on-site, the venue also provides the opportunity to play games on the recreation lawn, check out the garden, hang around fire pits on the private beach, and go for a hike through the woods!
