What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM CST. Please arrive between 3:30 - 3:45 PM.

Where is the reception taking place after the ceremony?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception are taking place at Ahavah Cottage, located at 510 MN-60 W, Elysian, MN 56028.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. This includes cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, suits, dress pants/shirts, etc. Essentially... no jeans or cargo shorts :)

Who is in your wedding party?

Answer

We decided that we are going unconventional and not having an assigned "wedding party" so that everyone can relax and enjoy the wedding.

Will the events take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors (if the weather permits). The reception will be indoors. The after-party will allow for both indoor and outdoor meandering!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Children are welcome as long as they are noted on the RSVP.

Is transportation to and from the venue provided?

Answer

Yes! We have booked complimentary shuttle services to and from the venue to the hotel we have a block with. It can hold ~40 people and will make 2 trips there (2:30pm, and 3:30pm) and 2 trips back (10:00pm, and 11:00pm). That being said, there is a parking lot at the venue if you choose to drive. You can leave your car overnight if need be, so long as you remove it before 10am the following morning.

Answer

If the universe is on our side, we expect it to be sunny and low 70's.

What is the wedding day timeline?

Answer

The timeline for guests will be the following: 3:30: Guests begin to arrive 4:00: Ceremony begins 4:30: Social hour begins (appetizers and drinks will be served) 6:00: Reception begins 7:00: Toasts 7:40: First dance 7:50: Dance floor opens and we boogie 11:00: Everyone skidaddles to our complimentary shuttles or their respective vehicles

What is the dress code for the night before cocktail hour?

Answer

This event is just a chill get-together before the big day - no dress code! Wear whatever you'd like; you can dress up, down, whatever feels right for you!
