Things To Do in Blue Ridge/ Ellijay
Mercier Orchards
This is a must go to for us while visiting. They have the best fried pies and apple fritters I have ever tasted. There is a large gift shop and small winery inside and not to mention the beautiful view of the orchard.
Grumpy Old Men Brewing
Local craft beer with up to 24 taps. A great place to hang out and try new beers. We spent hours playing cards and drinking beer.
Downtown Blue Ridge
Downtown Blue Ridge has a little bit of everything. Wineries (cartecay and a few others), bars ( black bear and Vertigo(our two favorites)), tons of shops and plenty of restaurants. There’s so much to see and do. You can’t go wrong with Downtown.
Reece’s Cider Company
Reece’s is a fun brewery where you can relax and enjoy a glass full of different flavors. Take the kids and enjoy card or board games while still drinking some delicious ciders.
Buckley Vineyards
Come have a delicious glass of wine or cider and enjoy the live music and views of Ellijay. This winery is less than a mile down the road from our wedding venue. Buckley’s also have small cabin rentals available as well.
Downtown Ellijay
Downtown Ellijay is small historic town with shops and restaurants. Plenty of neat things to see and do.
