The Dolls are getting married!

We wanted to start our married life together with a name that fit us. We decided to take the 'DO' from Abby's last name and the 'LL' from Jaime's and create our new name 'Doll'. We're so excited for you to celebrate with the new Doll Family!

Abby and Jaime have been together for 7 1/2 years. We met at orientation in college, but it wasn't until we had our first class together fall of sophomore year that we started being friends. A year later after Jaime came out, they started dating shortly after and the rest is history!

Our first date we went and saw The Dressmaker with Kate Winslet. Horrible movie by the way! To this day they still laugh about how Jaime chose the worst movie to see on their first date.

We both decided we wanted to propose so we each had that special moment. Jaime planned a trip to Chicago, where they had met and fell in love, to propose. She popped the question in Lincoln park at the Bridge over South Pond and had a photographer hiding to capture the whole thing on camera! Abby was extremely surprised! Afterwards we went to what is supposed to be the most romantic restaurant in the city, Geja's, for some incredible fondue! We shared a bottle of wine (we still have the cork!) and enjoyed fondue for a few hours celebrating such a special moment. Abby planned a trip to Temecula where we both grew our love of wine when we moved to California after college. Abby booked a beautiful Airbnb which was in the middle of a winery! They barbecued dinner and popped the question at sunset among the vines! Jaime was not expecting it to happen that weekend and cried a lot! We enjoyed the dinner Abby had cooked and popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate!
