FAQs

Question

When should I arrive in Dublin?

Answer

Totally your call! Sunday is the main event, but we're hosting golf Friday 7/24 and Welcome Drinks on Saturday 7/25. If you need any recommendations for traveling in Ireland before/after your arrival - please reach out!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We will need formal RSVPs by April 1, 2026. The sooner we know, the easier it is to plan - thank you!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Black Tie Preferred. We recommend dressing Castle Chic with tuxedos or black suits for men and gowns or full-length sets for women. Weather permitting the ceremony will take place outside on grass, so block heels are better. Irish weddings go until the early morning, so make sure you break in your shoes beforehand!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttles transporting guests to and from Dublin City Center to Luttrellstown Castle. We will share the shuttle schedule and pick up locations once finalized .

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Given the capacity constraints of our venue, we kindly ask that only the guests named on your invitation attend. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding! If you're bringing your children to Dublin and need help finding childcare for the 26th, please text Julia directly (978-270-5344).

Question

Do I need to renew my passport?

Answer

You should double check! While Ireland does not have a specified guideline, some airlines recommend/require that a US passport is good for 6 months from your arrival in the EU. Most passport renewal processes take 4-6 weeks, however you can have it expedited in 2-3 weeks time.
