Mark and Lovely met in their sophomore year of high school when they had computer graphics class. Mark, of course, was a bully and continued to be one when their paths crossed again during their junior year in Spanish class. Mark would hide and take Lovely's phone. Steal her pens and papers. Crack jokes and disturb Lovely during class. Mark and Lovely continued to have classes together till the ending of senior year. Mark met one of Lovely's close friend at the time which was the spark that was needed to start the flame. One day after class, Lovely's friend insisted that Mark call Lovely and just "talk" to her. Soon after, they started to text, then start to go out on dates and on April 7th, 2014; Mark asked Lovely to be his girlfriend.
