Semi-formal. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors in Bradenton, FL, and temps will likely be in the 60s–70s. We suggest long dresses or jumpsuits, suits or slacks. A light layer is a good idea after sunset. Feel free to play with color and pattern - it's a party after all!
Please arrive between 5:00 and 5:15 PM. The venue is a working museum and closes to the public at 5:00. We’ll be starting right on time, so try to arrive no later than 5:20 PM. (You know how the Bride and Groom are both painfully punctual!)
There’s limited street parking in front of the Bishop Museum, but a large public garage, the City Centre Parking Facility, is located across the street at 3rd Avenue West between 10th and 12th Streets. We recommend using the garage - it’s just a short walk and free all day.
Your invitation will note how many seats we've reserved in your honor. If you’re unsure or have any questions, feel free to reach out - we're happy to clarify!
We love your little ones, but this will be a mostly adults-only celebration. We’ve made a few exceptions for immediate family, and those guests will hear from us directly. Thanks so much for understanding!
We’re keeping the ceremony unplugged, no phones, photos, or filming please. We’re genuinely asking that you honor this request and be fully present with us in the moment. It means a lot to us, and we can’t wait to share the beautiful photos with you afterward. Once the party starts, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like!
Late February in Bradenton is usually mild and beautiful, with temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to mid-70s in the evening. It can get a little cooler after dark, so keep that in mind when picking your outfit.
We’ve reserved a hotel block at the Hampton Inn & Suites Bradenton Downtown, just minutes from the venue, with group rates available for the weekend. You’ll also find plenty of other great hotel and rental options in downtown Bradenton and along the Riverwalk. For details, visit our Travel page.
