On this day I met the love of my life and my life changed forever. I will never forget the day we met my co worker invited me to go out to celebrate her birthday. I couldn't decide if I wanted to go out or not. My best friend at the time convinced me so we decided to go out downtown Orlando to celebrate. We partied all night, danced, and enjoyed a few drinks. We had a great time! After a fun night, my best friend and I walked to the parking garage to grab the car and head home. As I turned around, I spotted two guys parked next to us. Then I noticed him—Angel. He walked over with an amazing smile and told me I looked beautiful. My best friend tried to hurry me along so we could leave, but I kept conversing with Angel. He asked for my number, but I told him to put his number in my phone instead. As he typed it in, I locked my phone, gave him a hug, and headed to my car. I thought he was really cute with a breathtaking smile, but I didn’t dwell on it too much at the time. I waited a few days to text him, and the rest is history. Angel officially asked me to be his girlfriend on December 14, 2016. He surprised me after a long day at work with my favorite candy, a teddy bear, and a sign asking me to be his girlfriend. It totally caught me off guard, and I couldn’t stop smiling because it was just so cute. Since that day, we’ve never been apart. We’ve been together for 8 years now! We have achieved numerous milestones and are now prepared to embark on the next chapter of our lives together. Together, we have supported each other through various challenges as we pursued our goals, and with mutual love and encouragement, we have accomplished a great deal, despite the time it took. We're still growing together and helping each other become the best versions of ourselves. We got engaged in December 2022 and purchased our first home in August 2023. We also have a beloved dog Ghost and plan to expand our family with children in the future. As a little girl, I always dreamed of having a beautiful wedding and marrying the love of my life. It’s finally happening! Our story shows that you can find the love of your life when you least expect it, and something beautiful can come from it. So don’t go looking for love; what’s meant for you will always find its way to you. Be with someone who chooses you everyday and never lose hope on true love because it’s still out there. Our love story is my favorite.
