Our journey to “I do” has been anything but ordinary—yet somehow, it feels like every twist was leading us exactly where we’re meant to be. We first imagined exchanging vows at Champagne Manor, a place that felt like the perfect beginning. When it unexpectedly closed​ (and along with its closure, all of our money), we were heartbroken, but still hopeful. That hope carried us all the way to Curaçao, where we began planning a dreamy celebration by the sea. But as time went on and the world changed, we realized that what mattered most was creating a day where everyone we love could feel safe, present, and at peace. So here we are, choosing love once again—this time in the city where our story truly began. We’ll be getting married in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 13, 2025, surrounded by the people who mean everything to us. And somehow, this date feels like destiny. The number 13 has always been ours. We started dating on Friday, December 13, 2019, and from that night on, our lives have never been the same. And now, we’ll become husband and wife on the 13th too. The date falls perfectly between our birthdays, making it a full Virgo season celebration—grounded in love, intention, and all the magic of timing that feels just right.
