FAQs

The Wedding Website of Julia Dextradeur and Dennis Desautels III
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please aim to arrive at St. Mary's 15 minutes before the ceremony starts—this ensures everything runs smoothly and you’re seated before the bride makes her entrance. The ceremony begins at 2:00 PM, so plan to be there by 1:45 PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting black-tie optional for our wedding. For gentlemen, this typically means tuxedo preferred and suits allowed, and for ladies, floor-length gowns preferred and shorter dresses or semi-formal jumpsuits allowed.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be addressed as [Your Name] + [Guest] if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore all the little ones in our lives, we have opted for an adults-only celebration to ensure that everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities. The only children in attendance will be those specifically listed on your invitation that are members of the wedding party.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! Your health and comfort are important to us. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony at St. Mary's. There is a parking lot as well as street parking available. If you are staying with us at the Sheraton hotel, we recommended checking into your room after the ceremony and before the reception if you have not already done so.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

A full-size coach shuttle bus will be available for transportation to and from the Four Points by Sheraton in Wakefield and The Mansion on Turner Hill in Ipswich.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you! Please drink responsibly.
