The Derismas

Whitney and Heathcliff first met on a cold December night in 2018. A mutual friend invited Whitney to a concert, where she happened to meet Heathcliff in the crowd. They caught each other’s eye in the long line, exchanging just a smile and a simple "hi." Heathcliff was too nervous to approach her at first, so he spent the night watching her dance from afar. Later, he finally found the courage to ask, "Hi, would you like to dance with me?" Whitney didn’t hesitate to say yes, and they danced together until the lights came on.  Throughout their relationship, Heathcliff would travel back and forth from Orlando to visit Whitney. One of their favorite memories was when Whitney surprised Heathcliff with a dinner cruise. They spent the night dancing and dining on the water, creating a memory they’d cherish forever. As time went on, their love grew like wildfire. They welcomed their son, Ashton, who became the heart of their little family. Then, on Ashton’s first birthday, Heathcliff proposed to Whitney. She thought it was just a family dinner to celebrate, but it turned out to be an engagement surrounded by all her closest family and friends. Of course, Whitney said yes, and they celebrated by dancing the night away. We can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception in May!
