Dress Code, Weather & Traditions

The dress code is cocktail attire. See photos for examples. Our wedding is in a garden and the bathrooms are a few feet away. Please utilize shoes that are comfortable and able to walk on grass.

Male

Example

Dress shirt and dress pants

Female

Example

Dress or dress pants, jumpsuit, etc. Dress to the knee, 3/4 or long.

Weather

Why the dress code?

The weather in Tamasopo is in the high 70's during December and low 50's at night. With this type of clothing you should be comfortable and neither too cold nor too hot during the ceremony and reception.

Traditions

Mexican Traditions

During the reception you will see "the money dance" after the couple's first dance. People pay money to dance with the bride and groom to wish them luck in their marriage.
