Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place at Templo de San Pedro Apóstol - about 7 minutes - from the Hotel La Casona de Yucay, where the reception will be held. How can I avoid altitude sickness while at the wedding?

Answer

To avoid altitude sickness, we recommend acclimatizing gradually, staying hydrated, eating light meals, and avoiding strenuous activities during the first few days of arrival. Be mindful of symptoms and rest as needed!

Question

Need international travel insurance?

Answer

Yes! We highly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance for your trip to Cusco. Due to the city's high altitude (over 11,000 feet / 3,400 meters), some travelers may experience symptoms of altitude sickness! Travel insurance can offer peace of mind in case of unexpected health issues! Cusco and the Sacred Valley are home to incredible tours and activities—such as hiking, visiting Machu Picchu, or exploring the nearby ruins! These excursions often require physical activity, and travel insurance can help cover any potential accidents that might arise during your stay. We want everyone to have a safe, stress-free experience, so please consider investing in travel insurance to ensure you're covered in case of any unforeseen circumstances!
