It's finally happening!

We first met while working at Malco together. He teased me mercilessly for how quiet I was and I ignored him for the most part because that's a shy person's only defense. We did have the same friend group though and eventually started hanging around each other more. At our friend's wedding in May of 2009, we talked more one on one and realized there was something there. About a month later, we were officially dating and have been ever since!

We had been planning what I had thought would be a fairly normal Thanksgiving dinner. His family was coming in town, my sister was coming in town, so we decided to have our first big Thanksgiving. We had a nice fairly relaxing day and and even better dinner. After dinner, he built a fire in the backyard and we all went outside to supposedly make s'mores when he came up behind me, pulled me around and got down on one knee. He asked, I said yes, and put the ring on myself because I was so excited! We're super excited to celebrate this new chapter of our lives with you!
