They first matched on Tinder back in August 2018, right as they were both starting college—Grace beginning her nursing degree at Ursuline College and Harrison starting his premed journey at Case Western Reserve University. Their first date was on September 4th, and even though it was simple, it couldn’t have been more perfect. They grabbed smoothies, talked for hours, and instantly clicked. Afterward, they took a walk at Edgewater Park, where the lake breeze and sunset made everything feel effortless and special. During their sophomore year, life threw them a curveball—COVID hit, and they spent a year and a half navigating long distance. It wasn’t easy, but it made their relationship even stronger. Once Harrison moved back to the area and Grace had settled into her nursing career, they decided to make Lakewood their home. That’s where they started building a life together—one full of love, laughter, and plenty of fur, thanks to their golden retriever, Leon. Now, as they enter this next chapter, everything feels a little more real and a lot more exciting. Harrison is beginning medical school at Case Western Reserve, returning to the place where their story first started. With Leon by their side and a lifetime of adventures ahead, they couldn’t be more grateful for the journey that brought them here and the future they’re about to build as husband and wife.
