Flight
Please fly into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). A passport is required when traveling to Mexico. Make sure yours is current and not expired - this means you will want at least 6 months between your date of travel and expiration! Passport processing times can take several months so be sure to plan ahead. Cabo Surf Hotel is a ~20-30 minute drive from Los Cabos International Airport. There are a few options for getting to your hotel: taxi, pre-arranged shuttle, or rental car. If you wish to take a taxi, our recommendation is to walk past all the options inside of the airport as they will be much more pricey. You will find several taxis right outside of the airport exit. Cabo Surf Hotel can also pre-arrange shuttle services, please call the hotel directly and ask about arranging this service. Uber has recently started accepting pick-ups at the Cabo airport, but please note you will need to walk a few blocks from the exit to find the pick-up zone.

We have always had such a seamless experience renting a car from Cactus. They will accept cash or card, and let you book online with no payment upfront. Their shuttle outside of the airport terminal will take you down the street to their rental office.
