The story of Nazli and Wesley is truly an unconventional one, whereby the amazing journey and unexpected blessings have flourished and grown into what they have today. The love and commitment shared and nurtured between them have led to the day we have all been waiting for, the wedding of Mr. & the future Mrs. De Gee. Having met on a night out with mutual friends, Nazli and Wesley instantly experienced “love at first sight”. Nazli, being the determined lady that we know her to be, put Wesley up to a consistent challenge that consisted of weeks of wooing and numerous attempts on Wesley’s part. Finally, one night Wesley managed to muster the courage to ask Nazli to be his fairy-tale-come-true… and it was an experience that has never been forgotten. … So there they were, on the beach after a night out on the town. Given that this would be the most memorable, gutsy and somewhat cliché thing Wesley would ever do, he was finally ready to directly ask Nazli to be his girlfriend. A sudden thought rushed through his mind, one that enabled clarity and a push for him to ask the question there and then. This thought was of a life without this amazing woman by his side. It became so clear… asking the question was not an option, this treasure had to be his! Almost instantaneously becoming nervous and sweaty handed, with a stuttering voice the words “Nazli, will you be mine” managed to escape from his mouth. To his pleasant surprise, the response to his question was a sure and definite “yes”. It was then that their amazing journey had begun, unknowing at the time that it would become what it is today.

As time went by, the love between Nazli & Wesley had managed to blossom. Weekends away, family events, religious events and a lot of one on one time was enjoyed as a couple. Their friendship and love had grown, not only were they romantically involved, but they had become best friends. In all of this new love and devotion, there was an unexpected blessing soon to arrive. Nazli announced that she was pregnant with Mikhail. It was during this time the most growth and development occurred between them, having had to experience the ups and downs of a young relationship, whilst preparing for a bundle of joy. When Mikhail finally arrived, a brand-new journey between the three of them began…

Mikhail was growing and Nazli & Wesley were ensuring that they nurtured their family whilst maintaining their strong bond. Of course, there were the ups and downs, the good and bad, but nothing deterred their love for one another. It was indeed a beautiful bond… Through all of this, Wesley still had not proposed (I mean c’mon guy – what else is left)!?!? Unknowingly another blessing was about to be on their way… Trying to keep his desire to surprise Nazli a secret, Wesley began planning a lifelong decision and how he would propose it. Believe it or not, but he secretly purchased two rings and made a reservation. What he had planned, was nothing like what Nazli was anticipating. Nazli, being the smart lady that she is, was already suspicious and knew that Wesley was up to something… which was exactly what Wesley was hoping for! Whilst they were enjoying their romantic evening of fine dining, Wesley leaned over and pulled out the first ring box. Nazli was startled but secretly so excited… Wesley opened the box… and…. there sat a PROMISE ring! (Geez, did the sparkle in Nazli’s eyes disappear!). Wesley promised to be her one and only, a truly devoted partner, father, and friend, also promising that one day he would present to her the “real” ring. As the evening continued, Nazli tried to hide her disappointment of not being proposed to as she had expected, but when she least expected it, Wesley got down on one knee. The promise that one day he would present the “real” ring to her, was that day too. He pledged his love, devotion, and commitment to her and asked her to be his wife… Nazli said… Yes (Of course!)

Whilst Wesley walked around for months so excited and proud of the fact that Nazli had agreed to be his wife, and Nazli eagerly started mentally planning for her fairy-tale wedding, the upcoming arrival of their second son, Aiden was welcomed and celebrated. Their loving family of three was now becoming a perfect family of four.
