Let's Get married

Many of you may have heard this already, but for those of you who have not, our engagement story is definitely interesting! The night it was supposed to happen, as we are walking up the country club steps to walk to the beach where a photographer was waiting, unbeknownst to Elle... mom falls! What we thought was a small trip up the stairs turned out to be much worse-- she had a visibly broken wrist. Of course, chaos among the von Heimburg family and Timmy quickly ensued. Mom was surprisingly the calm one! Elle had to step away because she thought the was going to pass out. Ava followed shortly behind her. Dad was frantically asking for an ambulance, Cade remained at the stairs just staring and Timmy slipped away to sprint to the beach, ring in his pocket, to inform the photographer of what happened. Timmy had to call everyone who knew the big secret to warn them the proposal did not happen and to not give it away to Elle. The night ended with mom and dad in the ER and the rest of us hitching a ride home in the firetruck! Elle even asked Timmy jokingly if mom falling stopped him from proposing that night...to which he obviously answered no. She still didn't suspect a thing! The next night was take two of attempting to propose. Everyone was in surprisingly good spirits, Elle had no idea, and mom was looking cute in her cast. We got to the beach this time, the same photographer waiting for us to arrive to capture the proposal that was finally a success! Timmy did such a good job despite the circumstances, so watch how you walk up the stairs people!!
