Driving your own car
Crossing the border into Mexico in your own car is a breeze. There's almost never a line of cars to get into Mexico It's about a 90 minute drive to get from San Diego to Ensenada on the toll road. (Toll road adds up to $10 round trip) The wait times coming back to the US does tend to be a lot longer however, so please budget extra time if you need to make it to San Diego at a certain time. wait time to cross back can be anyone from 30 mins-2 hours depending on time of day. (longest wait times being on Sunday evenings). You can check border wait times online!

Private Shuttle
Most of our guests will be traveling by car to Ensenada, so if you are aware of anyone else attending, I would recommend considering carpooling as an option. However, if carpooling is not feasible, the hotel has suggested a private transportation company that you can contact for transportation from the border.
