Are there any specific Covid laws for New York State that we need to be aware of?

New York State is following CDC guidelines. In short... Vaccinated= wear a mask if you want Unvaccinated= wear a mask when indoors and/or can’t maintain social distancing *some establishments may request that all patrons wear a mask regardless of vaccination status

Do I need to wear a mask to your wedding?

Answer

It depends if you’re vaccinated or not... At this time, Becker Farms (our venue) will be following the CDC guidelines surrounding the use of face coverings. Those guests that are vaccinated do not need to wear a mask. Becker Farms staff will not be checking for proof of vaccination nor will they be ‘policing’ this with guests. This will be solely based on the honor system that we hope all guests will follow. We are asking however that guests do not congregate within the bar area once they have received their drink as that location is a fully indoor space with no air flow.

I’m flying to NY, do I need to wear a mask while traveling?

Answer

Federal mandate requires that masks be worn on all airplanes and in airports. They are also required on transportation/busses to and from airport parking. Uber and Lyft are also requiring passengers to wear masks.

Is your venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

As long as weather permits, our ceremony will be outside. Our reception will we held in a large pavilion adjacent to the ceremony site. Our rain plan will be to have both the ceremony and reception under that pavilion.

What is the parking situation at Becker Farms?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at our wedding venue! You will be able to park for free right outside of the ceremony and reception area.

Can I leave my car at Becker Farms?

Answer

Guests may leave their cars over night if needed. We will have a charter bus available to take guests back to the hotel (Hampton Inn Lockport) at the end of the night. Do NOT drink and drive!!!! You *might* be able to get an Uber/Lyft from the hotel to Becker Farms. However, please note that Becker Farms is a farm in a rural area so Ubers and Lyfts likely will not be available to give you a ride back to the hotel.
