Jeff and Hannah both grew up on the North Shore of Boston - Jeff in Topsfield, Hannah in Boxford. They met at Masconomet Regional in the 7th grade, where they spent the next 6 years in the same classes and in the same friend group. Throughout middle school, high school, and college, Hannah and Jeff remained great friends. They spent time visiting each other at college, Hannah at BC, Jeff at Holy Cross (the rivalry is still very strong) and always made an effort to spend time together over holidays, vacations, and the summer. After graduating college, they both moved home and began spending a lot more time together. They have been together ever since!

Jeff and Hannah were spending the last few weeks of summer down on the Vineyard, getting every last beach day and sunset in while they could. They decided to wrap up their Thursday by going to one of the Vineyard's most beautiful beaches, Lucy Vincent, to have a few drinks by the water to wrap up the week. The weather had somewhat changed that afternoon, so Hannah put up a fight going to the beach, but luckily Jeff won that battle and they made their way. Just before they left the beach to head home, Jeff asked to go for a walk. With no one around, Jeff got down on one knee and took Hannah completely by surprise. The tears were flowing to say the least! Afterwards, Jeff surprised Hannah with a beautiful engagement dinner just the two of them, and then a weekend of celebrating with their families who surprised Hannah the next morning!
