FAQs

Question

I am unsure if I will attend due the current COVID climate we're living in. Will you be upset if I decide to not attend due to these circumstances?

Answer

Definitely not! Not even a little bit. Last thing we'd want is for ANYONE to come to our wedding uncomfortable. If you have to RSVP "No" for this reason, we totally understand! No hard feelings. We'll miss you - but we can make sure to celebrate together another time!

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

Please still RSVP, but RSVP as "No." Thank you so much in advance!

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All of our wedding festivities will be indoors! Our church mass will be held in the church - at St. Joseph's in Long Beach, CA. Our civil ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held at in an all indoors venue - at The Majestic Downtown in Los Angeles, CA.

Question

Can I attend the church mass and the civil ceremony?

Answer

Yes, of course. We would LOVE to see all of our guests at both, but we understand the challenges associated with commuting. So, our guests also have the option to attend one over the other!

Question

Is there parking available at St. Joseph's Catholic Church?

Answer

Yes! There is a big parking lot behind the church where you can self-park. There are no fees associated with parking at our parish.

Question

Is there parking available at The Majestic?

Answer

DTLA street parking sucks! We'll be offering complimentary valet to all of our guests! Or just be a real one and Uber/Lyft or Tuk-Tuk ;-)

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

All RSVPs are online only! Please RSVP by clicking the RSVP page on this website. You'll proceed by entering your full name. Our awesome RSVP system will allow you to RSVP for others as well - those included in your party. Contact us if you get stuck.

Question

When do I have to RSVP by?

Answer

All guests must RSVP by no later than November 29, 2021. If you don't and just show up - BYOC&F (Bring your own chair & food)! Just kidding. Don't do that. Please RSVP. Any missing responses by our deadline, we'll have to conclude you can't celebrate with us!

Question

What are your meal options for dinner?

Answer

We are going to be offering the following options: beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian. Guests will be able to select one per guest through your RSVP. We currently haven't chosen exactly what each will be just yet - so that information is still TBD!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we'd love to have everyone we wish to be there (including your kiddos), we currently have to limit our guest list in areas where we wish we didn't have to! We will have our close families' children attend, but if we did not advise you specifically - we are unable to accommodate your little ones on our day. Your invitation will be clear on who exactly is invited. So sorry! If anything changes, we will make sure to contact you directly.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately at this time we can only accommodate our current guest list - so sadly no :-( . Our invited guests are those addressed by name in our invitations. Should anything change, we will make sure to contact you directly!

Question

Attire? What should I wear?

Answer

Spiffy. Anything that makes you feel polished, confident and ready to have fun on New Year's Day in DTLA! If you're looking for specifics - it's cocktail/formal attire!

Question

Can I post photos or videos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

For most of the night - YES! Our civil ceremony at 5:30 PM is an unplugged event. Please do not take photos during this time to allow our photographers and videographers to capture it without interruptions or phones in the shot! We'll make sure there is a special announcement on this before it starts, just as a friendly reminder :-) However at all other festivities - we would LOVE that. We just ask that you please tag us, so that we could see those special moments you got as well.

Question

I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Please contact us via text, call or at our wedding email - thedangs2021@gmail.com. PS - the email address is correct. We originally planned on getting married in 2021! COVID had other plans...*Selena Gomez Smiling/Crying Meme*
