Below you’ll find a mix of things to enjoy both on-site and nearby during the wedding weekend.

Things to do on Owl's Nest Property

Golf Enjoy a round on the award-winning 18-hole golf course, surrounded by stunning mountain views. Tee times can be booked 14 days in advance on the Owl's Nest website or by calling (603) 726-3076 ext. 211. Racquet Sports Get moving with pickleball, tennis, or paddle courts—all available on the property. Rental equipment available as well! Lake Harold Relax or get active at Lake Harold with options for kayaking, paddleboarding, or fishing. Pool & Hot Tub Take a refreshing swim, unwind in the hot tub, or grab a drink and relax at the pool bar. The pool area is a great place to cool off between events or simply soak up the sun. Dining & Drinks Visit Panorama Six82 for a casual meal or enjoy craft cocktails at the Slice Pizzeria & Bar. Both offer beautiful views and delicious food. Fitness & Spa For those looking to refresh their mind and body, the resort offers a fitness center and access to spa services such as IVs, massages, and facials (by appointment).

Hiking

The White Mountains are famous for their hiking trails, ranging from gentle walks to challenging summits. Popular nearby hikes include: Welch-Dickey Trailhead — About 15 minutes (7 miles) from Owl’s Nest, this moderate loop trail offers stunning ridge-line views and panoramic photo opportunities. Smarts Brook Trailhead — Approximately 10 minutes (6 miles) away, this scenic route features waterfalls and peaceful forest scenery, perfect for a nature-filled hike. Mount Willard — Around 50 minutes (47 miles) from the resort, this 3.2-mile round-trip hike rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views. Diana’s Baths — About 1 hour 15 minutes (56 miles) away, this easy and family-friendly trail showcases beautiful cascading waterfalls. Arethusa Falls — Approximately 57 minutes (53 miles) from Owl’s Nest, this moderate hike leads to New Hampshire’s tallest waterfall.

Franconia Notch State Park
