Simply sweet cafe

Spruce Knob

Our absolute favorite place in all of Monongahela National Forest. Drive to the highest point in West Virginia and experience 365 degree views of all the surrounding mountains. Park in the parking lot at the top and take a short hike to the field. This is the best place to watch a sunset and stargaze in West Virginia. On your way out, stop at gateway at the base of the mountain for the best country cookin' in the area.

Seneca Rocks

Hike the Seneca Rocks trail. A short scenic hike that leads to a beautiful overlook with sweeping mountain and valley views. It's a great option for guests who want a bit of adventure and classic West Virginia scenery.

Enjoy a charming scenic ride on the historic Cass to Durbin line. Stop in the rail trail store in town to get your tickets and don't forget to grab some souvenirs on your way out.

Green Bank Observatory

10 miles away from the venue is the small town of Green Bank. Green Bank houses the world's largest fullest steerable radio telescope. Take a guided tour to view the multiple telescopes surrounding the town, walk the exhibit halls or visit the gift shop.

Snowshoe Mountain is just 45 minutes away and offers endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation. Spend the day exploring the village, home to multiple charming shops and restaurants, or enjoy outdoor activities like biking, hiking, or golfing. Make it a full day exploring!
