Frank and Ashley met spring of 2022 at Xsport Fitness. It was 4:30 AM, the usual routine time for them both. Frank noticed a girl at the workout cables and had to know who she was, so he approached her. He charmed her with his smile and introduced himself. He found out her name was Ashley and she was indeed single! After that they would talk a little more each morning at the gym growing closer. Frank finally worked up the courage one day and asked Ashley out on a first date where they went downtown to get a few drinks and got to know each even more. That summer of 2022 was when Ashley and Frank became inseparable from each other. From working out together in the mornings, hanging out right after work, and tons of walks, adventures, and fun dates, they were glued together. Frank and Ashley moved in together after a year of dating in November of 2023. They further solidified their relationship living together while creating fun new memories with one another. So much so in fact on July 30th, 2025, on a family trip with Ashley’s family in Gatlinburg, TN, Frank had planned to propose and tie their love together forever. That morning they started off their day with mimosa’s (Ashley’s favorite) alongside a pool swim up bar where they enjoyed the hot sun sharing laughs together and planning their day. Planned that day was the family photos in the smokey mountains... or so Ashley thought. Behind the scenes Frank had planned with Ashley's family to propose on the mountain side. Her family was going to meet us there to hide so they can capture the special moment. Soon towards the early evening everyone was ready to go. Ashleys family had just left to get a head start and hide. However, Ashley was racing towards the door ready to leave so she can keep with up them. Bri had texted Frank "Make sure you stall so we can hide! Don't let her leave yet!". Frank quickly thinking of any plausible excuse nervously went up to Ashley and said "Babe I'm sorry I'm not feeling the greatest. I think have to use the bathroom..." Flustered Ashley said "OK." Frank ran upstairs to hide in the bathroom where he called his parents quietly to inform them of the big moment has arrived. They were so excited Ashley was officially going to be part of the family. About 10 minutes later Bri had given the okay. After a short drive up, they were surrounded by the beautiful trees and terrain of the Smoky Mountains. When Frank had gotten out of the car, he became even more nervous as Ashley was frantically looking for her parents calling and texting them. "Let's just walk down this path the scenery is beautiful along it. I am sure your family is this way taking photos already." Ashley reluctantly agreed and they walked down the path and admired the view, taking in the fresh mountain air. They continued their walk until they got to the cliff side with the largest most breath-taking view of the mountains. The spot Frank knew he was going to propose at. He awkwardly hugged Ashley trying to find the words and not get too choked up. After a brief moment of looking deep into her eyes, Frank got down on one knee and surprised Ashley with an engagement ring saying "I Love You with all my heart more than anything in the world. Ashley Nicole Pena would you do me the honor and marry me?" Ashley blushed and teared up with excitement shouting "YES! I love you too Frankie!" Applause erupted from Ashley's family hidden up in the balconies and from Frankie's family on face time. A photographer hidden behind cars had also emerged and captured our special moment. While taking photos the clouds rolled in and a deep rain followed by a rainbow soon after blessed us on our special day, giving us a clear sign from God we are truly meant to be. It was a beautiful moment for Ashley and Frank they will never forget. Frank and Ashley are very excited to celebrate their special day with all their loved ones. Get ready for a fun day!!
