The oldest part of the city, this neighborhood is where our wedding will take place! This area of the city has preserved the Spanish, French, and Creole architecture from the 18th & 19th century. Excellent for tours, shopping, restaurants, and bars. Please be mindful that Bourbon street runs through the middle of this neighborhood.
Dive headfirst into the bustling energy of Bourbon Street. It's touristy, sure, but if you're looking to really let loose and party hard, this is your spot! Just be mindful of pickpockets. Be sure to check out the oldest bar in the United States, Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop.
A two-mile-long stretch with restaurants and shops of all kinds. Excellent for a day of shopping.
Mike’s absolute favorite! This spot is perfect for a lively night of bar hopping and amazing live music. Each bar has a unique vibe. A bit less rowdy than Bourbon and full of local charm.
Located just down the river from the French Quarter, this relaxed and eclectic neighborhood is a great place to escape the energy of the Quarter and experience what local living is like. We highly recommend Bacchanal if you're looking for a restaurant- they sometimes have live music.
New Orleans is rich with history and culture. Explore the ghost tours, voodoo lore, and all the fascinating stories in the French Quarter. You can also experience the beautiful and unique above-ground cemeteries or the macabre Museum of Death. A tour with Miss Mary from Bloody Mary's tours is our favorite!
Take a thrilling adventure through the Louisiana swamps. It's a unique and exciting way to see the local wildlife.
For history buffs, this is definitely worth a trip
City Park is a great place for a walk and a beautiful sculpture garden. Audubon Park is a fun destination via the St. Charles streetcar line, getting off at the Tulane/Loyola stop. The route features beautiful homes in the garden district
