Hello loved ones!

It’s as if it was God’s plan for Spencer & Akyra to find one another. Akyra moved from New York & Spencer moved from California in 2007. Some how they found their way to McKinney, TX only living a few blocks from one another without even knowing it. They both went to Heritage High School their Sophomore year in 2009. Both wore number 24 in basketball. Many would say, what does a 15 & 16-year-old know about love but this was it Akyra & Spencer fell in love pretty quickly! Falling in love was made easy because Spencer has been nothing less of a perfect gentleman. Their love has always been very genuine and admirable to others. They truly made each other happy. Although Spencer & Akyra were committed to their relationship so young they still followed their dreams going off to separate colleges. Distance tested their relationship with not seeing each other for months at a time. Most would have called it quits but Akyra & Spencer knew they truly had someone worth the wait. Fast forward to adulthood Akyra & Spencer moved in together, went on vacations, tried new things, and continued to date each other to this day. January 2020 Akyra & Spencer announced that they were expected to bring a precious little girl into this world but God had a different plan for them. That precious little girl is now a precious angel who will have forever hold a deep place in their hearts. They share this because their angel is a major part of their story and growth as individuals and a couple. Their angel made them parents and allowed them to realize what it took to love and support one another during the most trying time of their lives. On December 25, 2019 they took a trip to Austin. This was supposed to be just a intimate Christmas vacation but on this day Spencer decided to ask Akyra to be his wife with the blessing of her parents as well as his. As their loved ones plan to gather for their wedding they ask God to continue to guide them in life and to be the center of their marriage.
