Stephanie is the sister of the bride. Gaby and Stephanie grew up together being very close, even though they were polar opposites. Gaby loved barbies, makeup, and fashion while Stephanie enjoyed video games, sports, and playing in the dirt. They are not only sisters, but best friends. Stephanie is an accomplished student, currently getting her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology.
Eric Corso
Best Man
Eric is Nick's younger brother who tragically passed away in December 2019. He was a kind, gentle, and loving soul with an infectious laugh and a welcoming demeanor. He will be deeply missed at our celebration but we would like to use this time to honor him by enjoying this special moment with our loved ones just the way he would have liked us to. We will eat, drink, and dance in his memory.
Alexandra Mourad
Maid of Honor
Alexandra is the bride's youngest sister. She is a recent Berkeley graduate that likes to bake, travel, and think up new business ideas in her spare time. Despite the 9-year age difference, Gaby and Alex have a lot of shared interests and enjoy spending time together shopping, eating, and hiking. She will be missed by her family as she soon moves to Washington DC to work at Amazon.
David Heckenberg

David and Nick met in the back of a church basement scrapping over a mop to clean after a meeting. David’s relentless crusade to help others, pursuit of all things spiritual and love of music proved to be a strong bond which have held these two together for roughly six years. When not talking program, these two love to run trails, hit the beach, or just chill and vibe out to reggae.
Gina Corso

Gina is Nick's sister but has quickly become an older sister to Gaby as well. If it wasn't for Gina, Nick and Gaby would have never met! Both Capricorns, Gina and Gaby share a lot in common. They both have an entrepreneurial spirit, a love for true crime documentaries, and are the oldest of their siblings. Gina also just had a baby girl named Luciana that Nick and Gaby love to babysit and spoil.
Allen Vance
Groomsman
Nick’s brother-in-law who once lovingly referred to the Groom as “the ugly tree,” has seen Nick and supported his sister through all of Nick’s ups and downs. Allen has been a wonderful and loving husband to Nick’s sister, an amazing father to Nick’s niece, Luciana, and a stalwart member of the Corso/Vance tribe. Allen’s sage advice and meticulous attention to detail have proven him to be a valuable asset and beloved brother to Nick.
Genesis Duran

Gaby and Genesis met in 2013 while working at *THE* infamous Islands restaurant in Sherman Oaks. Over time they became the best of friends, spending lots of time together and having each other to lean on. They developed a strong bond that has lasted well after their time working together came to an end.
Brandon O'Brien
Groomsman
Brandon is Gaby’s brother and is now Nick’s “little bro” and good friend as well. Brandon has a kind and giving heart, compassionate spirit, and he is a hard worker. He and Nick have bonded working side-by-side on demolition day at Nick and Gaby’s new house as well as countless other projects for his father or Nick.
Laura Phillips

Gaby also met Laura while working at Islands and got to know her in between serving tables and eating french fries in the kitchen. One day, Gaby invited Laura to come to the beach with her and Genesis (who she had recently become friends with) and the rest was history! Closer than friends, they are like sisters.
Nicholas O'Brien

Nick is Gaby’s brother but more importantly he is Nick’s “Tocayo,” meaning they are forever brothers and kindred spirits who also share the same name. This name was given to them while the two were hiking in Zion National Park on an epic family adventure. Nick is a caring and warm-hearted young man who always has his hand up to help his Tocayo with any necessary projects. The two also bond over their shared love for Rick and Morty.
Shauntel Jones

Shauntel is ALSO part of the Islands crew. With a radiating, warm, and electric energy - it was impossible not to love Shaunie. She gives the best hugs in the world and always has a word of encouragement to share. A superwoman mother to 2 beautiful children, Shauntel is also an amazing dancer and will liven up any party!
Matthew Ingels

Matt is a devoted Father, hard worker, and OG BIC (Brother in Christ) to Nick. His beautiful daughter, Nikki, was the flower girl for Nick’s sister’s wedding and now will be the flower girl for this ceremony as well. Matt and Nick made fast friends and a strong alliance, uniting in their love for Christ, and teaching men and woman the freedom experienced through Jesus.
Haylee Cadden

Gaby and Haylee "randomly" met at a holiday party in 2016, but soon became very close friends. They've had many exciting adventures together from vacationing in Tulum, annual pow wows in Palm Springs, and epic camping trips in national parks such as Yosemite and Zion. Haylee got to witness Gaby and Nick's relationship evolve right from the very start.
Roy Tighe

Roy is an Actor, Director, small business Owner, and loving friend to the many people he touches daily. Roy, reigning from Fort Francis, and Nick, a Los Angeles native, seem like an odd couple. However, they unite through their deep, meaningful conversations and shared sense of comedy, lovingly referred to by their fiancés as “psycho babble.”
Amanda Pichardo

Gaby met Amanda at her first "big-girl job" out of college after graduating from UCLA. They both worked at an advertising agency in Culver City and came to have a close bond throughout their time there. Eventually, they went their separate ways but remained good friends. Amanda can be described as generous, thoughtful, and compassionate - always thinking of others.
Nicholas Lagerfelt

The two Nicks have been friends since 1992 when the Corsos moved to Santa Monica directly across the street from the Lagerfelts. As kids, they united through their mutual love of adventure and chaos, driving their mothers nearly to the brink. Nick works in the film industry in Sweden, so the two do not get to see each other too often, however, they will always consider each other as brothers.
Melissa Portillo

Gaby met Melissa through Laura when she moved into a building that Mel was managing. Laura had told the girls about her and then invited her to come on a trip to Vegas with the group in 2017. It was there that everyone realized it felt like they had all known each other forever. She fit right in with the crew & has become a great friend, not to mention the life of the party.
Jeffrey Ruiz

Jeff and Nick met at Santa Monica High School where the two were tight and fought many battles side by side. Jeff’s family practically adopted Nick as their own and Nick shared many holidays with the Ruiz family. Jeff and Nick have also shared many great vacations and trips, once completing a cross-country trek to Miami and back (barely). Jeff is a loving boyfriend to his beautiful girlfriend Marissa and father of two gorgeous children.
Nicolette Ingels
Flower Girl
Nicolette or "Nikki" Ingels is Matt's daughter but feels like she's all of our adoptive daughter. She is very excited to be the flower girl at the wedding and this will be her 3rd "gig" doing so! Nikki has a very special place in our heart as we've gotten to see her grow up. She is a very smart & kind young lady and we love her dearly.
