Q & A

The Wedding Website of Edward Corrothers and Brittany Taurel
Question

Can I stay outside the wedding hotel?

Answer

We’ll be staying at the Binn Hotel. You’re welcome to stay anywhere you’d like! There are plenty of great hotels and Airbnbs nearby. Please note, on the Wedding Day, the shuttle will depart from Binn Hotel.

Question

What’s the weather like in August?

Answer

Medellín is known as the City of Eternal Spring, with mild, comfortable weather all year. In August, you can expect: Daytime: around 75–80°F — warm and pleasant with a light breeze. Evening/Night: around 60–65°F — cooler once the sun sets, especially in the mountains. Our wedding venue is located in the hills above the city, so temperatures there will be a few degrees cooler, and you may feel a light mountain breeze at night.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or other members of my family?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you’re unsure whether you have a plus one, please check your RSVP details or reach out to us directly.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, our wedding events — including the Welcome Party and Wedding Day — will be adults-only. Families are more than welcome to enjoy the weekend in Medellín, so feel free to make it a mini vacation!

Question

What language is spoken in Medellín?

Answer

Spanish is the main language, but most hotel staff and tour guides speak English.

Question

Should I exchange money before traveling?

Answer

Credit cards are widely accepted, but having some Colombian pesos (COP) for tips and street vendors is helpful.
