From Rogers Mountie football games on the hill, to sitting across from each other at church, I have known Adam since middle school. Throughout our early years, our paths would cross from time to time until we began hanging out regularly at St. Vincent’s Confirmation classes and became close friends in high school. It took a couple of years and (in)significant others before I could see that Adam and I belonged together. After what seemed like the hundredth time of my mom asking, “are you sure Adam is just a friend?” we went on our first date in 2015 (where at the movie theater, Adam was so nervous he spilt an entire bucket of popcorn all over the stairs) and the rest is history! The past 8 years have been full of such fun memories as we have grown up and lived through different phases of life together. I can’t wait for many more years to come with my best friend as a married couple!
I saw Kirsten for the very first time at Bariola's Pizzeria when we were in the seventh grade. I'll never forget she was wearing a Rogers Mountie long sleeve t-shirt and a cheetah print infinity scarf. Despite these questionable fashion choices at the time, I knew in that moment that she would be the person I marry. In my mind, I only knew her as "cheetah scarf girl" or the "the girl across from me at church" and it wasn't until a year later where I was finally able to meet her thanks to mutual friends and our time in St. Vincent de Paul's confirmation courses. We became good friends throughout junior high and our early high school years. However, it wasn't until our junior year where our relationship gained a title. From our first date in 2015 (no it was not nerves that made me drop the popcorn... just an over buttered popcorn bucket!) to now, I've never been more excited to be marrying my best friend. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
