Our Love Story
We first met in 2010 at a house party and we were instantly fond of each other (well, Richard was fond of Melissa...) but we didn't see each other again for ten years.
Then, in 2020, Richard's perseverance paid off and a first date ensued. Despite a global pandemic and several lockdowns, we fell in love after endless phone calls, long walks, picnics and socially-distanced monopoly on Melissa's front steps. We even survived one lockdown unintentionally stranded in Caxton with Melissa's Mum and Stepdad...
In 2021 we moved in together to our flat in Langdon Park and in 2022 we bought our first home, in Walthamstow, which has proven quite the renovation project!
Fast forward to this year and whilst celebrating our three year anniversary, Richard took Melissa for a picnic, got down on one knee… and she said yes!
