Visit Our Favorite Places

For 8 years we've had many adventures in this city. These aren't just our favorite places, but a story of us.

IL Bastardo

828 9th Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Some people find love at work or school and others find their soulmates at Boozy Brunch. The couple met at this very restaurant for our mutual friend's birthday (thanks Michelle!). But it's not for the faint of heart- For $39 your entree comes with your own bottle of champagne...so imagine how that first meeting went.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lower Manhattan

28 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10005

At this movie theater on December 23, 2023, Pat made the greatest proposal in history of proposals. He rented out an entire theater room to play a movie he made of us. And in front of the screen, before an audience of our friends and family, he proposed. Sometimes real life is better than the movies.

Bryant Park

New York, NY 10018

Pat didn't just stop at the movies for the proposal. Afterwards he took everyone out for ice skating in Bryant Park to complete Eleni's dream of the ultimate Christmas engagement (it's true- the best proposal in history). Since we can't ice skate in July, we can settle for the second best thing in Bryant Park- movie nights. If you're staying till Monday, grab a blanket and check out what's playing at Bryant Park. Don't forget the wine and cheese.

Citi Field

41 Seaver Way, Flushing, NY 11368

Screw the Yankees we are Mets fans. One of our favorite dates is to go to a game and have a cocktail, a steak sandwich, and fried Rainbow cookie. LGM

4DX Regal Tangram

133-36 37th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11354

If you didn't already know, we are movie people. One of our favorite things to do is catch a bad movie in 4DX -water setting on. We also stop by the cyberpunk-style food court in this mall. Pat orders a banh mi sandwich and Eleni gets a korean corn dog.

Pig Beach BBQ Queens

Astoria, NY 11106

Best bbq and huge screens- it's Pat's favorite place for game day in queens.

Maison Premiere

298 Bedford Avenue, Williamsburg, NY 11249

Our favorite bar in Brooklyn. Here you feel like you stepped back in time in New Orleans. Our order is a dozen oysters and an absinthe cocktail.

Otis

18 Harrison Place, Bushwick, NY 11206

Amongst a sea of warehouses is this hidden gem. When Pat lived in Brooklyn this was our favorite restaurant for date night.

Shanghai You Garden 上海豫园

135-33 40th Road, Flushing, NY 11354

We say Queens is the best borough and food in Flushing is one of the reasons. This is our favorite cheap spot for duck and soup dumplings.

Jongro BBQ

22 West 32nd Street, New York, NY 10001

Our undisputed favorite place for Korean BBQ. Be prepared to stuff yourself beyond your stomach's abilities. Afterwards try some karaoke next door!

American Museum of Natural History

200 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024

For 3 years Eleni interned here and is where her interests in environmental science began. This eventually became her career.

Sushi On Me

71-26 Roosevelt Avenue, Jackson Heights, NY 11372

In Eleni's hometown of Woodside lies the cheapest and best Omakase in the city. Not only do you eat but you party with unlimited sake (beware).
