As many of you know, we meet while in High School. We both were attending Mountain View High School when we crossed each others path in Freshman year Earth Science. One day, the old song, Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen, came on during the school bell. After this Conor approached Rachel, who was sitting at her desk, slid his phone over to her and said "Call me maybe?" On his phone he had pulled up the keypad for Rachel to put in her number.

After months of preparation on Conor's side and antaginizing on Rachel's side, Conor got the ring of Rachel's dreams. Conor had planned an extravegant proposal that included one of our favorite places to hike each year, Smith Rock State Park in Redmond, OR. We would trek the tretcherous Misery Ridge trail which is a 600 foot elevation gain hike that places you on top of a 3,360 foot summit. At the top of this summit is where Conor got down on one knee and asked Rachel to be his forever. She of course said "YES!"
