Uber and Lyft are easy and reliable, and both La Jolla and Pacific Beach are super walkable. Parking can be tricky, so skip the rental car unless you really want one!

This hotel is located approximately 10–15 minutes from the wedding venue and about 20 minutes from the welcome party. While it’s not within walking distance to La Jolla proper, it’s just a short drive into town, and Ubers are readily available, making it a convenient and comfortable option for guests. Please note: The road leading to the venue can experience traffic at times, so we recommend checking traffic patterns in advance to ensure prompt arrival for the ceremony on Friday afternoon.

Consider renting a house in Pacific Beach or La Jolla—both are close to the venue and great for groups. Our neighborhood, North Pacific Beach, is especially close to our hearts. It’s a 10–15 minute drive to the wedding, with a laid-back beach vibe and lots of rental options. Bird Rock and La Jolla Cove are also beautiful, walkable spots near shops, restaurants, and the ocean. Summer books up fast, so we recommend reserving early!
