We're getting married!

Lauren and Mike first met in high school through a mutual friend and they immediately became friends. Years went by and they grew apart when Mike went off to college at Iona University and Lauren went to the University of Rhode Island. One day while on Snapchat, Lauren saw that it was Mike's birthday and wished him a happy birthday. He thanked her and she said "We should hang out sometime, it's been a while!" Little did she know that these plans would actually happen and their love story would begin in December 2019. They endured the COVID-19 pandemic and long-distance (twice!) while Lauren was in college and during her PGY1 residency at Stony Brook. Mike and Lauren finally settled down and moved in together in May 2023 in Rockaway Beach. In March 2024 they got their dog, Milo, and in December 2024 Mike proposed to Lauren. They are so excited to get married and celebrate with their closest family and friends!
