Before they ever met, Amanda had already heard about Brian through her longtime friend, Jaclyn Williams. Jaclyn often spoke fondly of her principal — a compassionate leader who cared deeply for his staff and students. Amanda, also an educator, was intrigued by the stories of this kind and dedicated man.
Years later, Jaclyn decided to play matchmaker and introduced the two. Living just across town from each other in Astoria, Amanda and Brian quickly discovered how much they shared — a love for teaching, a commitment to others, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys.
What began as a thoughtful introduction soon grew into something lasting and true. From school talks to long walks, laughter to love, their story wrote itself naturally.
