Travel from the airport
If you’re not planning to rent a car, there are a couple of easy ways to get to the area/your chosen hotel from Pisa or Florence airports: Option 1: Take a train to Siena, then grab a taxi or book a private driver. Option 2: Book a private transfer directly from the airport. If you’re choosing the private transfer option, it does need to be booked in advance, ideally a few months ahead, as they can get booked up quickly! Prices vary depending on where you're coming from: From Pisa Airport: Around €250–€300 per ride (not per person) From Florence Airport: Around €180–€200 per ride These transfers are usually 7–8 seater vans, so it’s best to coordinate with other guests where possible. The cost is per ride, not per person, so sharing with a group helps keep the price down! You’ll find a list of recommended drivers and transport companies below.

Travelling by Train
If you’d prefer to take the train, the closest station is Siena, it’s just a 20-minute drive. You can get trains to Siena from both Pisa and Florence. To check train times, head to: www.trenitalia.com/en Just enter your departure station (Pisa or Florence) and your destination as Siena. The trains are generally reliable and frequent during the day, but do keep an eye out for any train strikes, which can occasionally be announced a few weeks in advance. From Siena Station Once you arrive in Siena, it’s super easy to get to your chosen accommodation. There’s a taxi pick-up point directly outside the station (just across the road). Prefer a Private Driver?
You can also pre-book a private driver. The cost is similar to a taxi, but most private drivers use 7–8 seater vans, which can be more economical if shared with others.
