We met on a dating app. I (Juana) messaged him first and he responded so fast. It took me two days to respond to him back. He was about to delete me on the dating app but I sent the message on time. We talked and went on our first date. Towards the end of the date, I got home and I told myself “I think I found my soulmate”. Then he was the one!

We planned a mini getaway for us. We stayed at the getaway cabins in starved rock for a couple of days. One of the days, we decided to take the dogs on a walk in a trail. Justin had the calm and great listener dog (Zeus) and I had the crazy and excited dog (Oliver). We were walking down the path and I was ahead of Justin. Once I stopped and turned around, he was there with Zeus on one knee. He told me how felt and popped the question! I was crying and screaming in joy. I obviously said yes!
