We kindly ask our guests to dress in dressy casual attire for our special day. Think polished but comfortable—elevated yet effortless. To complement our wedding aesthetic, we request that guests avoid wearing white or red. Instead, we encourage you to embrace earthy tones, neutral hues, and jewel tones—nothing too flashy in color—for a cohesive and elegant look. For women, flowy midi or maxi dresses or dressy separates are perfect. Gentlemen can opt for dress pants or chinos paired with a button-down or a blazer for a refined yet relaxed vibe. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior and no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat. To ensure an uninterrupted moment, guests who are not seated when the music begins will not be allowed a seat.
Our wedding will take place at Pitchfork Properties, a beautiful VRBO rental located about an hour and a half away from the cities. Due to limited parking, we ask that guests carpool as much as possible—there is a maximum of 25 cars allowed at the venue. Please be mindful and respectful of the space, as we are so kindly being allowed to use this wonderful property for our special day. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep the venue in great condition!
There is no local transportation or hotel block for our wedding. All guests are expected to have a ride arranged by 10:00 PM due to residential noise ordinances and venue regulations—no exceptions. Please plan accordingly to ensure a smooth and timely departure. Thank you for your understanding!
We kindly ask that only those listed on your RSVP be in attendance. Due to limited space and planning, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for your understanding!
As much as we love your kids, we’ve decided that only ours will be in attendance. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!
Yes! There will be light finger foods at the reception, including small sandwiches, charcuterie cups, fruit and veggies, and small desserts. We recommend having a larger meal before you arrive, as the offerings are more for snacking throughout the evening. As for drinks, we are hosting a dry wedding, so there will be no alcoholic beverages available. However, we will have water and an assortment of refreshing juices to keep everyone hydrated. We look forward to sharing these tasty bites and drinks with you! Due to limited resources and the fact that we are not providing a full dinner service, we will not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions. We encourage you to plan accordingly if you have specific dietary needs. Thank you for your understanding!
Yes, we have plenty of fun planned for the reception! Enjoy a variety of yard games, music and dancing, and our first dance as a married couple. We’ll also have newlywed-centered puzzles to keep things interactive, along with scheduled toasts and speeches from selected individuals. As the night winds down, we invite you to join us around the bonfire to relax and enjoy the evening. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Yes, RSVP is required! We will only be planning for those who RSVP, so it is crucial that you let us know as soon as possible. If you do not RSVP, we unfortunately will not have space for you at the event. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with you!
The wedding will be held outdoors, regardless of the weather. We’ll be on grass near wooded areas, so plan accordingly for shoes. Since we’re celebrating in the fall, please check the weather beforehand and consider applying bug spray and bringing a light jacket to stay comfortable. We look forward to celebrating with you in this beautiful natural setting!
We kindly ask that you keep phones put away during the ceremony so that everyone can fully enjoy the moment. We have hired professional photographers to help us capture the magic of the ceremony and we’d love for our guests to be able to just enjoy the celebration without distractions. Feel free to take photos during the reception, and we look forward to seeing your pictures later! We kindly ask that guests please refrain from posting photos of the reception on social media until after the bride and groom have had a chance to share our photos. This will allow us to enjoy the moment first and share our memories with you. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to see all of your beautiful pictures later!
