Jas and Kev met on her first day in seventh grade english class a few weeks in to the school year after she transferred schools. From the moment she walked in to that english class, Kevin knew he found his wife (Jasmine wasn't so sure about all that at age 12). On September 11, 2013 Kevin made his move and asked Jasmine to be his girlfriend... to which she responded "maybe..." By the end of the school day, Jas decided to say yes to his (middle school) proposal. After the classic middle school romance of awkward side-hugs, break-ups and make-ups, they decided to give it a (real) go in September of their junior year of high school. From that moment on, they have grown together, chosen each other and acted as the other's greatest supporter for every major moment of their lives. From volleyball games, ROTC ceremonies, homecoming, prom, graduation, and cheering the other on at a distance as Kevin began his career as a U.S. Navy sailor and Jasmine pursued her education at the University of North Texas. For over half of their lives, Jas and Kev have been the most precious constant for one another. Through every stage of life, their love for each other has only grown as they have always been each other's home and best friend. After five years of long distance, Jasmine and Kevin are ecstatic to begin this next chapter of their lives together. All of the school events, graduations, promotions, FaceTime calls, tearful airport sendoffs and thousands of miles traveled have all led to this day-- where two souls destined for each other to finally join together as one.
