Question

Directions

Answer

📍 Address: 11694 W Thunder Lake Road, Manistique, MI 49854 Important: Please type the full address into Google Maps (don’t copy and paste it). When the address is pasted, Google Maps sometimes leaves out a number and may take you to the wrong side of the lake. If you are coming from Munising, take H-13 until you reach County Road 440, then turn left down County Road 440. Turn right onto 2217. From there, turn left onto West Thunder Lake Road and stay on the dirt road until you reach a field with signs and parked cars. Park in the field. If you are coming from Escanaba, turn off US-2 onto County Road 442 in Schoolcraft County. Turn left onto Thunder Lake Road, then turn left onto 2217. Turn right to continue on 2217, and then turn right onto West Thunder Lake Road. Stay on the dirt road until you reach a field with signs and parked cars. Park in the field. Question

What should I know about parking and getting to the cabin?

Answer

Parking will be available in a field just down the road from the cabin. We highly encourage guests to carpool whenever possible, as parking space is limited. Guests are welcome to walk down to the cabin from the parking area, and a golf cart shuttle will also be available if needed. Please note that the cabin is located in the woods and the ground is primarily dirt and grass, so plan your footwear accordingly.

Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs are due no later than July 29th. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any RSVPs received after that date. There is a section to RSVP for the party and a separate section to RSVP for dinner. We will need a rough headcount for dinner, so if you plan on eating (we hope you do!), please be sure to select the dinner option as well when you complete the RSVP section.

Question

What’s the schedule?

Answer

There isn’t a strict schedule—it’s a relaxed, come-and-go celebration! The party starts at 4:00 PM. Dinner will be served from 4:00–6:00 PM, followed by speeches. Throughout the day and evening, we’ll have games, music, desserts, snacks, and a bonfire to keep the fun going.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar for our guests to enjoy—cheers to celebrating together! Feel free to bring cash to tip our wonderful bartender!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Kids are welcome if they are listed on the invitation. We kindly ask that all guests 18 and under head out by 9:00 PM so the adults can enjoy the rest of the evening.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not really! We want everyone to be comfortable, but think dressy summer casual. Summer dresses, skirts, nice tops, polos, button-downs, khakis, and similar attire are all great options. The wedding party and immediate family will be dressed a little more formally, so if you'd like to dress up a bit, feel free! We just kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white or jeans.

Question

Will there be dogs?

Answer

Yes—plenty of them!
