this is a story all about how Andrew: I first saw Emily when she walked into a math class sophomore year of college. She was the prettiest girl in the class so I naturally grabbed a seat next to hers. I spent the whole semester trying to peek at her answers on quizzes and make small talk. It turns out, she doesn’t believe in helping out classmates, and it took an additional 2 years (and a couple cups of coffee) to find other ways for her to notice me. Once she did, I was never able to get rid of her. Emily: I knew Andrew was the man who I wanted to spend my life with from the moment he memorized my coffee order. And of course his kind heart, passion for the Lord, and generous spirit never hurt his chances.
It all started in Chattanooga. For our first date, we drank coffee, hammocked at Sunset Rock, and jammed to St. Paul & The Broken Bones right here in this city. From then on that friendship grew into our relationship. This time was filled with trying new things, like rock climbing for Em.. and recognizing donuts as a dinner choice for Andrew.. Then nearly two years later, the big question was asked on the tiniest, bluest bridge right alongside the TN river. And of course the only answer when the love of your life asks you to start forever with them is “YES!”
