What happens if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as “Not Attending.” We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative that we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the timeframe they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

While we would love to host a welcome party for our guests, we will be having an intimate rehearsal dinner for immediate family and the wedding party only. If you are invited to the rehearsal dinner, you will see the option to accept or decline when you RSVP.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally listed on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, this is strictly an adults-only occasion.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding is formal black tie, meaning women should wear floor‑length dresses or gowns, and men should wear formal tuxedos or suits. Our colour palette consists of natural hues: cream, soft rose, taupe, and olive green. Please note that the ceremony will be fully outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will include a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces—including a terrace and a lawn during cocktail hour. Ladies concerned about heels sinking into grass may choose to wear a block heel, though there will be ample paved space throughout cocktail hour, and the reception will be fully hardscaped.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary parking is available at our venue. Please disregard the Impark payment stations. You are welcome to leave your vehicle until 8:00 AM the following morning.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM, so plan to arrive by 5:00 PM. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be permitted until it is completed.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking.

What food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will be serving hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a sit‑down three‑course dinner prepared by Michelin‑star chef Richard Singh. You will be able to select your entrée when you RSVP.

How can I inform you of any allergies or dietary requirements?

Answer

When you RSVP, there is an option to note any allergies or strict dietary requirements. We will kindly pass this information to our chef and his team.

What if I would like to change my entrée selection?

Answer

If you would like to change your entrée selection, feel free to reach out directly to Laura or simply complete the RSVP process again to re‑select your entrée. Entrée options will be locked on June 1st, when RSVPs are due, so please be sure to update your choice prior to that date.

I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

Toronto has an abundance of hotels and Airbnbs to choose from! We recommend staying downtown or staying on the outskirts of the city and using Uber, Lyft, or the TTC to travel between your accommodations and the venue. We have recommended a few nearby hotels under the Travel tab.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

A mix of both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Dinner will be held outdoors on the terrace under a canopy. Dancing, late‑night bites, and cake cutting will take place indoors.

Can guests take photos and videos?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep your phones away during this portion of our special day. After the ceremony, we would love for you to take as many photos and videos as you wish.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Although not expected, if you would like to give a gift, a contribution toward our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.
