What happens if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not submit your RSVP by the specified date, your invitation will be marked as "Not Attending." While we would love to have you join our celebration, we must provide our vendors with an accurate final guest count within their required timeframe. We appreciate your understanding and timely response.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

While we're keeping our rehearsal dinner intimate—limited to immediate family and the wedding party—we wanted to be transparent about this special pre-wedding gathering. If you are among those invited to the rehearsal dinner, you'll have the opportunity to accept or decline during the RSVP process.

To ensure an intimate celebration, we're inviting only the guests specifically listed on your wedding invitation. If you've been granted a plus one, that guest will be reflected when you RSVP.

While we adore children, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only event to ensure an elegant and relaxed atmosphere for all our guests.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding calls for elegant black tie attire. Women should wear floor-length dresses or gowns, and men are expected to don formal tuxedos or suits. Our color palette features soft, natural hues: cream, rose, taupe, and olive green. The ceremony will be entirely outdoors, weather permitting. The reception offers a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, including a charming terrace and lawn during cocktail hour. For those concerned about navigating grass in heels, we recommend block heels—though plenty of paved areas will be available, and the reception venue is fully hardscaped.

Is there parking at the venue?

Complimentary parking is provided at our venue. Guests can ignore the Impark payment stations and are welcome to leave their vehicles until 8:00 AM the next morning.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 5:00 PM for our 5:30 PM ceremony. This will provide plenty of time to park, find your seat, and get comfortable before we begin. Please be aware that once the ceremony starts, guests will not be allowed to enter until it concludes.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We kindly ask that all guests arrange safe transportation if they plan to enjoy our open bar. Your enjoyment and safety are our top priorities.

What food will be served at your wedding?

We're excited to treat our guests to an exceptional culinary experience curated by Michelin-star chef Richard Singh. During cocktail hour, we'll serve a selection of elegant hors d'oeuvres, followed by a sophisticated four-course sit-down dinner. When you RSVP, you'll have the opportunity to choose your preferred entrée.

When you RSVP, you'll have the opportunity to confidentially share any allergies or dietary restrictions. We'll carefully communicate these details to our catering team to ensure every guest enjoys a safe and delicious dining experience.

What if I would like to change my entrée selection?

Answer

If you wish to modify your entrée selection, you can easily do so by contacting Laura directly or by completing the RSVP process again to update your choice. Please note that entrée options will be finalized on June 1st when RSVPs are due, so be sure to make any changes before that date.

I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

Toronto offers a wide variety of accommodations to suit every preference and budget. We suggest choosing a hotel downtown or on the city's outskirts, where convenient transportation options like Uber, Lyft, and the TTC make traveling to and from the venue effortless. For your convenience, we've curated a selection of recommended nearby hotels under the Travel tab.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Our wedding venue offers a delightful blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, contingent on weather conditions. Dinner will be served on the terrace under an elegant canopy, and we'll move indoors for dancing, late-night treats, and our cake cutting celebration.
