Question

How is the COVID-19 pandemic impacting wedding plans?

Answer

We wanted to take a moment to address the coronavirus pandemic that has been significantly affecting the health and well-being of our communities. At this time, we have postponed our wedding until Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Hyatt Ziva/Zilara Rose Hall in Montego Bay. Given the uncertainty surrounding the spread of this virus, we want to ensure everyone's health and safety. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Be safe, be smart, clean your hands regularly and practice physical distancing. We strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated and will ensure everyone is tested prior to the wedding. We are working to ensure that everyone gets COVID-19 testing prior to the wedding.

Question

When should I RSVP ?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 15th, 2022.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are not registered at any specific stores. We have a monetary fund that you can contribute to on this website located under the "registry" tab.

Question

What time should I arrive on the wedding day?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time so that we can get started on schedule.

Question

Where should I park if I am driving to the hotel on wedding day?

Answer

For those that will be driving to the Hyatt on July 30th, 2022, free parking is available in the parking lot on the Ziva side of the resort. Once parked, please proceed to the front desk of the Ziva resort to be directed towards the wedding festivities.

Question

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

As much as we want everyone to enjoy the sun, the heat may make having the ceremony outside uncomfortable for some people. The ceremony and reception will be indoors while the cocktail hour will be held partially outdoors.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children 15 and older are welcome at our ceremony and reception. Children under the age of 15 may join us for the second half of our reception, when the meal has concluded and the dancing starts.

Question

Will child care be provided?

Answer

Yes, child care will be provided during our wedding event by staff at the Hyatt Ziva & Zilara resort.

Question

What will the weather be like in Jamaica at that time of the year?

Answer

It will be on the hotter side at this point in the summer! Daily high temperatures are around 89°F, rarely falling below 87°F or exceeding 91°F. It also tends to be fairly humid at this time of the year as well with occasional rainfall. Bring your sunscreen and shades!

Question

How can I get back and forth from the airport to the Hyatt resort?

Answer

For those who are staying at the Hyatt, you can stop by the Hyatt lounge in the airport when you arrive and the Hyatt team will further assist you. You will be able to take the shared shuttle to the resort at $40.00 (USD) per person for round-trip transit.

Question

Answer

Yes! We have been assured that the hotel is fully wheelchair accessible.
