We first crossed paths at Indiana Wesleyan University, where we were both studying social work. Our friendship started in the classroom, built on shared interests and lots of conversations between classes. In 2020, when the world shut down and we were sent home early, we decided to keep in touch. What started as simple check-ins quickly turned into late-night phone calls—sometimes lasting until the sun came up. By the time we returned to campus that fall, it was clear that our friendship had grown into something more. What began as a connection over schoolwork quietly turned into love—and we’ve been writing our story together ever since. Thank you for being a part of celebrating our story!
